Welcome from Community Planning Aberdeen. Community Planning Aberdeen is the name for your local partnership of public, private and third sector organisations and communities all working together to improve people’s lives across Aberdeen City.
In this short exercise we discover what things you value and what is important to you.
Imagine you are responsible for improving the lives of the people of Aberdeen. You only have 500 points to give to various improvement projects. You must allocate all of these points. How would you allocate these points? How you do this will help guide the work of Community Planning Aberdeen and the priorities within the City's Local Outcome Improvement Plan. You can, also, give comments and submit ideas. So please do use the comment sections.
How does it work?
You have several tough choices to make. There are 5 categories and within each category between 4 to 7 improvement projects. You will only have 500 points and there are many improvement projects. Give points to the projects that are important to you and see the results.
We will use your submitted priorities to help inform improvements across Aberdeen City.

How does it work?
You can take the following steps to submit your priorities:
- On the left-hand column, you will see different categories of projects: Employment and Income, Improved outcomes for all Children and Young People, Support for Vulnerable People, Health and Wellbeing and Welcoming Environment. Each category has improvements to choose from.
- Within each improvement you can select how many points you would allocate and will be shown the expected impact of allocating those points. You can also decide not to spend any points on an improvement by not moving the slider.
- For more information, click the information 'i' icon on the left of each improvement.
- You can see how many points you have remaining in the top right-hand corner or over-allocated.
- On each page you can leave comments or any further ideas you have.
- Once you have gone through all the categories, and you have allocated your points, you can click ‘Review and submit’.
Additional Information
Aberdeen City Council has produced a draft Population Needs Assessment (PNA) for the city. The aim of the PNA is to provide a high-level analysis of key groups, priorities and challenges across public services, including service performance and information available on the customer perspective.
